This is the most important stage as it carries the weightage for your final merit.

  • Mode: Computer-Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE).

  • Total Marks: 100 Marks.

  • Duration: 120 Minutes (2 Hours).

  • Negative Marking: 0.25 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Step 2: Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

Candidates who meet the cut-off marks in the written exam are called for measurement. This stage is qualifying in nature.

    • Process: Your height, weight, and chest (for men) are measured to ensure you meet the minimum standards (e.g., 168 cm for General/SEBC Men).

    • Failure: If you do not meet the exact measurements, you are disqualified immediately and cannot proceed to the running test.

Step 3: Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Only candidates who pass the physical measurement (Step 2) are allowed to take this test.

      • Main Event: 1.6 KM Run.

      • Time Limits: 7 minutes for Men and 9 minutes for Women.

This stage is specifically for those who claimed they have driving experience in their application form.

        Step 5: Medical Examination

Shortlisted candidates undergo a thorough check-up by a government-authorized Medical Board.

      • Checks: Vision (must not have color blindness or squint), hearing, and general physical deformities.

      • Status: You must be declared "Fit" to proceed to the final selection

Step 6: Document Verification & Final Merit List

The final step is the cross-verification of all original documents (Educational certificates, Caste, Residence, NCC, etc.).

      • Merit Calculation: The final list is prepared based only on your Written Exam marks + any bonus marks (NCC or Driving). Physical tests are not counted in the final score.
