Common Reasons for Document Rejection

To avoid "Red Ink" on your profile, check for these common errors:

  1. Name Mismatch: Your name and father’s name must be identical on your 10th Certificate, Aadhaar Card, and Domicile.

  2. Expired Certificates: Character and Unmarried certificates older than 6 months are invalid.

  3. Overwriting: Any manual corrections on official documents using ink or whitener will lead to immediate rejection.

Pro-Tips for Your Rally Day

  • Waterproof Folder: Carry all originals in a high-quality waterproof plastic folder. Rallies often happen in open grounds where dust or rain can ruin papers.

  • DigiLocker: Keep digital copies of all your documents in the DigiLocker app as a backup.

  • Early Arrival: Document verification usually starts at 4:00 AM or 5:00 AM. Being early ensures you aren't rushing through the process.

Bonus Marks: How Certificates Can Boost Your Score

The Indian Army provides significant "Bonus Marks" for certain certificates. If you have these, they must be in original form and verified at the rally site.

  • NCC 'C' Certificate: In 2026, NCC 'C' holders often get a direct pass or massive exemptions in the CEE for GD and Tradesman roles.

  • IT/Computer Course: For the Agniveer Office Assistant role, having an ‘O’ level certificate from NIELIT can give you an edge.

  • Sports Achievement: If you have represented your state or country in the last two years, you can get between 5 to 20 bonus marks.

Important: The New 2026 Typing Test Requirement

If you are applying for the Agniveer Office Assistant (Clerk) category, remember that documentation now includes a Typing Test Certificate or proof of qualification. Since 2025, the Army has made the English typing test (30 words per minute) mandatory during the online CEE phase. Ensure your educational documents reflect your computer proficiency if required for your specific ARO (Army Recruiting Office).

Document Sequence: How to Arrange Your Folder

To avoid panic at the rally gate, arrange your documents in this specific order:

  1. Admit Card (Topmost)

  2. Aadhaar Card

  3. 10th/12th Marksheets

  4. Domicile & Caste Certificates

  5. Character & Unmarried Certificates

  6. Affidavit

  7. Photographs (Keep these in a small separate envelope)

Pro-Tip: Use DigiLocker for Backup

The Indian Army has integrated with DigiLocker. While you must carry physical originals, having your documents issued in DigiLocker helps the recruitment officers verify your data faster through the "QR Code" system. It adds an extra layer of trust to your application.
